"Welshie is here, and ready to go "

Color(s): Light blue, with brown paint splatters (tobiano) She also has a brown mane and tail.
Breed: Mustang
Additude: Slightly narcotic. x.x She's always hyped up, and ready to run. She often can pick up on what other Unbridleds are feeling due to the fact she's extremely attentive. She has a kind soul, but makes mistakes. She's also fairly young, 8 at most.

Karma find herself high on a mountain, up near where the tree line ends and where the craggy peaks can barely be seen through the clouds. Mountain goats can be seen a little higher up, fuzzy white things bouncing around the rocks like deformed lint bunnies. Karma can either head up toward the goats or down into the forest to see what might be hiding in there.

Karma looked towards the goats, and then shifted her gaze to the peaks. She slowly began walking towards to goats, then broke into a trot. She didn't dare gallop, due to the uneven footing. Once she arrived upon the goats, she gazed around them, looking for something familiar, or atleast one of her own kind.

The largest goat bleated at her and shook his horns threateningly, not liking the intruder so close to his females and offspring. Regardless of his father's automatic distrust, one of the kids went toward the intruder, bleating curiously at her and staring up at her with big blue creepy goat eyes.

(What's the word for female goat? o_O Goat eyes scare me... they're soulless D: )

Karma looked at the goat with that "dude, chill" look before turning to the little goat standing before her. Seeing the creepy eyes, Karma decided to move on. She trotted past the goats and on towards the craggy peaks. It began to get cold all of the sudden, and Karma, with her thin summer coat, began to shiver. She felt tiny snowflakes begin to land on her, so she began to search for a cave to hide in, or another path leading elsewhere.

A little higher up on the mountain you can see a cave cutting into the mountainside that would make a perfect shelter from this wintery mess. The path is steep and looks difficult to navigate, but hey, if the goats can do it, then why can't you?

Karma, seeing the path, began a quick walk towards the cave. She stumbled over the rocks, but managed not to fall off the sheer drop to her sides. It was a long walk, and her legs began to numb. She appreciated the lack of feeling, much better than the burning it replaced. Suddenly a gust of wind buffeted around her, blowing her mane in all directions. She shivered more violently than ever, and began to fear that she wouldn't be able to make it to the cave. But she still trudged on through the now thick snow.

She finally got to the entrance of the cave, and wandered inside. Immediately warm air welcomed her.. and once a good thrity feet from the entrance, she let her legs buckle under her and lay down, wondering what she should do next. She was lonely, her spirits slowly dropping lower and lower.

The cave snaked far back into the mountainside, inside there was also a small pool of snow melt runoff water that had leaked through the roof of the cave and created it's own niche in the floor.

Outside the wind howled again and snow began to fall in earnest. The warm safety of the cave is a welcome respite from the bitter freeze outside.

Faintly hoof beats can be heard coming toward the cave, what on earth could be outside in this weather? Perhaps it's one of the goats coming to visit?

Karma's ears pricked when she hear the hoofbeats. Hoofbeats from what.. she did not know. She stood up, and shook all over to get the blood flowing again. She was nice and toasty, and was reluctant to go outside and look. It would be dangerous, now that there was hardly any visibility out there. She decided to call out from the entrance of the cave. Walking briskly and hopefully to the entrance she cried out in a sharp whinny "Is anyone out there! Anyone?" She waited excitedly, the anticipation of a visitor was more than she could handle. The only thing that help her in place was the danger she knew of galloping on rocks.
