Oh, and I'll be RPing as myself (is not good at RP, so please bear with me)

And, I've now properly registered *cough*

(lol, this is a great RP for beginners ^_^ No worries!)

You find yourself on an old, abandoned farm, the rickety barn falling apart at the seams before you, and the fields that you can imagine were once lush and green are now brown and full of weeds. Over the door to the barn is a rusty old horse shoe, once a sign of good luck, now just a sign of old age as it hangs lopsided on it's hook, threatening to fall at the vaguest whim. Dare you go into the aging barn? Or play it safe and inspect the pastures instead?

Looking around at the pastures, I can't help but think that there are probable a lot of nettles and brambles to push through out there.

"Well, I've always wanted to explore one of these old barns anyway! I just hope it doesn't fall on my head..."
I say, as I slip through the crooked door and into the ancient barn.

The barn gives a groan as the wind passes through the holes in the roof and dust falls from somewhere up above. As you look around, you stumble upon a nesting chicken, and she screams at you for startling her from her nest, getting up and running away clucking angrily at the nosy human entering her sanctuary. Your eyes fall back on her nest and you see a lump of blue that couldn't possibly be a chicken egg, but what could it be? Will you investigate the blue egg? Or continue poking through the barn?

I blink to clear the dust from my eyes as the chicken runs from the barn. Taking deep breaths to try and calm my racing heart, I'm in the middle of silently wishing a plague of foxes and coyotes on the noisy bird that nearly sacred me to death when my eye falls on the blue lump in the chicken's nest. It's such a shock of color amid the dusty browns and grays of the old barn, I can't help but edge closer to see what it could possibly be...

The blue sapphire gleams softly in the dim barn light, do you take it? Or leave it behind and continue searching?

(does the RP end if I take the sapphire then?)

"Ooh, pretty! Now how did you end up here?" I say, as I scoop the gleaming gem from the nest. I admire it for a few moments, watching it glint in an errant sunbeam coming through a crack in the wall. Then I carefully drop it into a pocket before continuing deeper into the barn.

The stone being just a stone could not talk back, for that is the nature of stones, seeing as how they have no brains, thus the term "dumb as a brick." But regardless, the farther you go back into the barn, the darker it gets until you can barely see into the darkness. You can hear scurrying that you know isn't anything good, more than likely rats, possibly a fox. Perhaps leaving the barn would be a good idea?

Hearing the scurrying in the darker back of the barn, I stop short. Maybe it would be better to have a look around at those pastures now? Especially sincw I don't have anything with me to make a light (and suspecting that lighting a match in an old barn is probably not the brightest thing in the world to do anyway.)

I turn back, carefully, into the lighter part of the barn, and then make my way back to the door.

The sunlight greets you a little too brightly when you step outside, and your darkness adjusted eyes sting from the blinding light. As you blink away the pain you can see something moving toward you, or at least you think you do, you can't really see yet.As your vision begins to adjust you can see a small, oddly shaped and colored equine with long ears. The fuzzy thing regards you suspiciously before opening it's mouth, showing off it's big teeth, and braying in your face.

Still attempting to shade my eyes from the evil daystar, I crinkle my nose as the scent of the... donkey's? mule's?... breath hits me. Amazing how bad a herbivore's breath can smell....

"Nice equine, good equine..." I murmur in a soothing voice, patting down my pockets just in case I happen to have something tasty stashed away I could give it. I slowly sidle to one side so as not to be trapped between the wall and the possibly irate creature.
