Dookies

"Dookies is here and ready to go "

You find yourself standing in the dense depths of a pine forest, all around you are the straight, narrow trunks of the pointy needled trees, reaching heavenward. The stillness here is almost unbearable, but ever so faintly, you can hear rustling sounds to the north. While to the south, you can clearly hear water. Lots of water. Do you choose to chase after the rustling? Or go toward the water?

I think I'll go towards the water...
WAIT.
Wait.
Is there a boogey man both ways?
If so, I'll go towards the rustling...
I mean, I don't want to drown...

As you follow the rustling, you can start to see more light piercing through the trees, soon you find an open meadow, and the rustling you were hearing was only deer, or was it? Through the tall grass you can only see vague hints of something bounding and playing in the sunlight. Do you investigate and follow it? Or stay away where it's safe?

The creature that seemed like a deer bounded off, it's white tail flagging behind it. Do you chase after it? Or give up now before being let on a wild deer chase?

You follow the "deer" deeper into the forest, always chasing glimpses of it's tail. Finally the "deer" dives into a large shrubbery (ni!) and hides in there. You can go into the shrubbery after it, or give up, cause who knows, it might bite and when was the last time you had a tetanus shot?

An indignant squeal erupts from the shrub and the whole plant shakes as what's inside jumps from the prod. Soon after the stick you're holding is grabbed from the other end and given a hard yank. Will you choose to hold on and pull back? Or run screaming?

AHHH MY ARM!!!! Is it bleeding? Does it look cool?

I think I'll run screaming now.

A white head peers out of the shrub, watching you flee with a confused expression. It snorted in contempt and flung the stick at your retreating form and left the shrub in a huff, eager to get away from the crazy human.

After your flight, you find you are lost deeper in the forest now with the only direction you have being the trail of destruction left in your wake, and you certainly don't want to go back that way :p

Climb a tree?

Up in the tree you find a hollow in the trunk where some raven has stashed all his treasures. The shiny objects glitter at you invitingly, bottle caps, keys, jewelry, stones, all sorts of things for you to rummage through.

How big is my pocket?
I want to take all that stuff.
Then I want to examine what I've got.
Then find out where I'm going.
Which way can I go again?
Can I go back to that one place with the waterfall?
